OK A-holes.  It's fixed.  Enjoy the orange links, because I have no fucking idea how to change them.  I basically learned scripting in four days to fix this damned thing. - Andy

Hiroo Onoda.

[Edit.--Speaking of which, "You may have to live on coconuts. If that's the case, live on coconuts!"]

[Edit 2.--This would have been much better as "He couldn't build a tank out of coconuts...," I suppose. Selah.]

You know, I think I might have picked Joseph Paul Franklin in the past as well. The title is admittedly obscure. This should help.

So, given the entirely timely death of Jess Franco, I found myself looking for the often-omitted biting-off-dong scene that I thought occurred at the beginning of "Vampyros Lesbos." This must instead have been "Les avaleuses," but it's ultimately of little concern, as I've seen both before, and I imagine everyone's familiar with the basic concept in any event.

This, on the other hand, has the potential to skyrocket in value.

Creator of the relentlessly 12-step-pushing "Magnificent Obsession," which features vastly more annoying music, drawn from a seemingly bottomless pit of pathos, than his other program, Jim Nayder.

The Tribune reports:

Quote"Annoying music is a train wreck," Nayder told the Tribune. "You don't want to see it but you can't look away." [Actually, Jim, I rather easily can.]

Reruns still air weekends on WBEZ."Magnificent Obsession" started in 1992 and also remains a WBEZ staple, although Nayder had not produced a new episode since 2012, according to WBEZ CEO Torey Malatia.

No doubt these shambling zombies will continue to pollute the airwaves for years to come.
