As is usually the case, I work late on Thursdays and don’t yet have a DVR but, thank to that questionable site that SD linked us up to, I can still hang.  Haven’t sent this episode yet, but am looking forward to it just to see some more of Stanley shining.

Last year, Kevin was my favorite secondary character, but Stanley has basically closed the gap.  I’ve said it before, but what’s great about this show is the depth of these secondary characters.

I still like Kevin, and Creed is No. 2. Kevin was priceless arguing with Angela yesterday, and last week was great when he took the pic of Jan home. "I don't have a lot of art". Creed is just...Creed.

He's probably realizing Jan is a psychotic bitch and is wondering what the hell he's gonna do now that he got what he wanted. Stanley gave Ryan exactly what he deserved last night. Ryan has turned into such a little prick. That was great. I guess Jim is really into Karen. Nice move on his part. My girlfriend just about cried when she realized that. She's gonna have to get over it.

It's Jan.  There was some web promo for the Jan. 4 episode and it had Michael showing a vacation slideshow to the office.  Naturally, there's a picture of a topless woman sunbathing and Pam asks "Is that Jan?"

It's amazing that Jan would agree to go, but yeah, it had to have been her. Michael has some brass balls to ask her to go. Although I think it has more to do with his cluelessness.

Anything by Rogue is gonna be damn good, including Dead Guy, Mocha Porter, Double Chocolate, and Red Ale. Great Lakes makes some really good stouts and porters, too. And you can never go wrong with Goose Island Honker's Ale or Anchor Steam, Porter, or Stout. I tend to like micro brews better than imports. They're fresher and just more interesting. And yeah, I drink the shit out of Old Style during Cubs games. It's an ambiance thing.

Last night's episode might have been my favorite yet. I definately have to watch it again this weekend. So many great moments. I haven't laughed that hard since Borat. Okay, that wasn't that long ago, but Dwight v. the Ed Helms was even better than I expected; the new black guy giving "the sign" to Stanley; Creed watching the chick breast feeding and putting it up as his screen saver; the alcoholic getting excited about the champaign; Dwight and Michael "helping" the fat guy, etc. etc. Great stuff.

Count me in with The Slak. My girlfriend and I have Tivo'ed Studio 60 and have tried to watch it a couple of times. I can barely make it half way through. I should have known it would suck. It has the skinny drug addict from friends. Not that it would be any better with either of the other annoying clowns from Friends. I've only seen 30 Rock once. I thought it was pretty good. Alec Baldwin is a pretty good comic actor.

I liked Live's first two albums quite a bit. Then they went from 120 Minutes to mainstream. I can barely even listen to Throwing Copper anymore. Ed whatever the fuck his name is has become such a pretentious douche bag.

I think he's hilarious and entertaining. He's a smartass who isn't afraid to step on some toes. I TIVO his show every night. He is a breath of fresh air who tells it like it is as opposed to the others who live in a bubble or who are feeding at the Halliburton trough.

Colbert's performance at the Correspondent's dinner was the #1 "song" purchased on Itunes for a while. You can still get it there for $1.99. I subscribe to the Repor's podcast as well. Great, great stuff, though Stuart is still the master. Jon's takedown of Bill Bennett the other day was classic.
