It was pretty interesting how the story was told without any narration, just anecdotes from some of the main players and the discussions between Berg and Gretzky. I had forgotten how emotional Grtetzky was at the press conference. And there were some pretty sweet mullets in the tapes from the '80s, especially one young kid who was helping pull a curtain out before introductions.

this guy thinks the Cubs should thropw in Angel Guzman if the Rays demand him, AND put Burrell in LF and move Fonzie to CF.

After years of hearing them chirp about Leon Durham, 100 years, and Steve Bartman, they have their own stooge, now. If they lose this series, they can shut the fuck up about the Cubs' goats.

Man, the Cardinal fans at work today are awfully quiet.

Good guy, but really slow. He looks like he's loafing out on the ice, but it's just his size and lumbering style. He's actually is pretty tough in the slot. He won't fight like Eager, but won't back down either. I think the AAAA tag is pretty appropriate for him, though. Doesn't say much, just goes about his business. He will really help Rockford right now.

I think this was a cap move and from what I'm reading, Johnson was not a favorite of this coaching staff.

Nice to see Carp struggle through five innings and over 100 pitches. They were hoping to bring him back Sunday on three days of rest if there was a Game 4.

Another positive about the Twins is that Boers was rooting against them because Justin Morneau had earlier said "anybody but the White Sox". So if pisses off the Sux fans, go Twiins!
