Brutal Legend is down to $40 at Amazon.
OK A-holes. It's fixed. Enjoy the orange links, because I have no fucking idea how to change them. I basically learned scripting in four days to fix this damned thing. - Andy

Saw it last night on Imax. At first I didn't like the 3D. Maybe we were sitting too close though (2nd row), because things seemed out of focus on the sides of the screen. Or maybe my eyes needed to adjust, because after a few minutes I got used to it.
Yeah the plot was standard stuff, but I expected that. The dialogue wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be.
It looked amazing. I thought the animation in the Star Wars prequels looked stiff and fake, but with Avatar I forgot I was watching animation. The naked blue people were convincing. And unlike Watchmen, the naked blue people wear loincloths so you don't have see any blue penis.
I was in the front row and had the same experience. I found it helped when I completely turned my head to look at the sides of the screen. I probably looked like a total PANK, but it was clearer.
So, if you ever find yourself traveling back through time to last night, just turn your head more.
Just then?

DPD.
Back to the original point of the thread, the Jason Bay contract will drive up the prices of a shit-ton of outfielders.
At this rate, Soriano will wind up being a bargain in two years.
4 years/$66 million is ridiculous. Imagine what he could have gotten out of Hendry.
So 4x$66 is ridiculous but 4x$76mm with another year after that will make Soriano a "bargain"?
Who called Sosiano a "bargain"? I'm really asking. Has someone "done" that? Because "I" don't think he's a "bargain".
You make me want to be a better man.
As Good As It Gets? Seriously?
You knew that Weebs was quoting "As Good as it Gets"? Seriously?

Weebs,
Have you ever had experience with those capture cards that record your gaming to a computer or hard drive?

Remind me. Who is Jason Bay?
He directed Armageddon.
On an related note, am I the only one who never knew that J.J. Abrams was one of the writers of Armageddon?

Castle Crashers is $7 (down from $15) for today only. It's worth $15, so $7 is a steal.
SAP, Y'ALL, DANG!
I've heard great things about this game, but I'm still not 100% sure what it is. I think it's like those old 2D brawlers from the 16-bit days (Streets of Rage, Fatal Fury, etc.), but maybe I'm wrong.
