OK A-holes.  It's fixed.  Enjoy the orange links, because I have no fucking idea how to change them.  I basically learned scripting in four days to fix this damned thing. - Andy

I agree it was an awesome dose.

How in the world did Andy turn it around so quickly after Slak's request?  It's like stream of consciousness writing, but with stats to back up the humor.

Andy is a moran savant.

Brilliant stuff.

And look at this, 4 Doses in a row! We are spoiled these days.

Please do this to another thread. There's one for Lost on here, right?

He's already done this to that thread. Either way, a loser is us.

Tards are already up 5-0...so much for a We Miss Uncle Albie Pity Party.

Somehow, this is Dusty's fault.

I'd really love to see a Dose on this. I never get tired of reading Gordo bashing.

Do I save this for work, do I read it now...damn it. This is tough.

I'm assuming someone else has seen this today? What. Thee. Fuck.

If you were thinking of buying me a Christmas present this year, please don't.

That's all I needed to hear.

Season two arrives Wednesday.

Finished Disc 1 of Season 2 yesterday.  You are in for a treat.  I think it was from Season 1, but I thought the "Ignore me!" alien was going to be the death of me.

Thank you, Apex.  Thank you very much.

Did you notice Stephen Colbert as the voice of Mr. Impossible (stretchy dude)?

The "Ignore me!" alien was a fucking riot. When he yelled it at the cab driver I lost my shit completely. I've seen that episode three times now and it just flat out never gets old. This series kicks up about 30 notches on the second disc of season two. Wait til you see the Scooby Doo gang. Oh, holy crap.

I did notice that. As a big fan of Harvey Birdman, I must say Colbert's got some excellent chops for animated shows.

Harvey Birdman, you say?  I've always suspected I would love that show, but never tested that theory.

Test it, because that show is fucking awesome.

Harvey Birdman did kick ass.  The Flinstones episode nearly killed me.

"The Dabba Don" Steak balls wrapped in bacon smothered in gravy with a side of cheese chili fries*

As for Colbert's voiceover work, can anything top Ace & Gary?

*BH's breakfast

The Sebben & Sebben employee training video episode is by far my favorite.

I'm a big fan of Blackwatch Plaid.

So many to choose from.  I'll trust that Kerm will shoulder the load over at HJE.

One of my favorites, though:

QuoteJeff Samardzija is still a year away.

First, he's about 15 years away.  Second, did anyone really think Samardzija would play a critical role this season?

How about Sean Marshall's hamstring? A losing record vs. the Nationals?

Someone needs to beat this guy with a sack of doorknobs.

You don't pay attention. Inherited runners is a BS stat. Hits fall in when they fall in. A single is a single and a pitcher is going to give up a freakin' hit now and then. If it comes when he's trying to clean up someone's mess, that sucks even worse.

Additionally, I feel like I'm being mocked here.  Oleg has me all hyper-sensitive lately.

Actually, I thought you raised a good point. Don't let Oleg get to you. Guard your ankles, and you'll be fine.

Can't wait. I don't remember the ignore me alien, so I think I'll be meeting him in the next couple of days. This show fucking rules. I owe you one Apex.

Who knew?

QuoteEyre ran his consecutive scoreless appearance streak to 31 games, tying Ryan Dempster's franchise record.

Looking back through Eyre's game log, he's given up just two runs since July 4 of last year.

I would think a stats-geek like you would see right through this pointless record.  Especially for a LOOGY.

Now, the fact that he hasn't allowed an inherited runner to score and has retired 12 consecutive first hitters he's faced, that's something.

By the way, according to BR, he finished 30th in MVP voting in 2005.

Which is why I was baffled by what seemed like Lou favoring Cotts over Scottie Ire. He's been excellent since he started eating again.
