OK A-holes.  It's fixed.  Enjoy the orange links, because I have no fucking idea how to change them.  I basically learned scripting in four days to fix this damned thing. - Andy

I'm beginning to wonder what a shitty TJ post looks like?  I bet you it doesn't exist, like Atlantis, or something.

I've learned from these last 1-2 pages that:

SD = BC = Bill Murray

Wait, am I supposed to resent this inference?  I'm pretty sure I am.  But something's stopping me.  I'm not sure what it is -- I cannot seem to put my finger on it.  No, it is there surely, but ...

So, did BC have to return from his deathbed to receive total consciousness?  At least we have that going for us.  Which is nice.

--Where was the Desipio Welcoming Committee when I moved to Chicago in September 2003?  I think that's why I moved out of Chicago in September 2003 (the very next day to be precise).

--That picture needs more Chris Benoit.  So what if he's Canadian?  Racist.

--Is there anyway to activate filtering/blocking options?  I've stuck up for BC more than anyone here, just because I don't like to see the poor chap picked on.  But now, I want to block the sonnielabitch.  Reading that shit -- I just simply cannot take it anymore.  I just ejected a testicle-sized sac full of poisonous infection that kept me bedridden for this past week, I will be gotDAMNed! if I let BC ruin this coming next week to follow!

I have a new lease on life after purging this rotten infection, and the Cubs have a new lease on this baseball season.  Live it up, female bitchez! (Ogden is a town in Iowa, you know.  That's just lame)

After the Cubs game, besides listening to the Brewers @ Cardinals game like I mentioned, I also got to watch Marlins @ Giants on MLB.TV, and I listened to Tigers @ Angels on LA radio (preparing for a Slak joke!).  Each of these broadcasts went out of their way to talk about the situation in the NL Central, and how the Cubs were barnstorming the scene.  The Angels booth even mentioned the Jay Payton rumors (shudder).  That gives some perspective though, when a division-leading team from outside your league takes notice.  Also with the Giants talking about it amidst The Travelling Barry Bonds Circus.  We're not just pipe dreaming here, the rest of the league knows -- the Cubs are for serious/serial/cereal.

Here's what I think:

I think the Cubs are going to play their best baseball in August and September.

I think the Brewers are gonna fold like a seven deuce off-suit.

I think the Cardinals...  ...I could give a shit about the Cardinals.

I will warn everyone right here and right now, though.  BC and I had this same exact identical exchange back in 2004.  We know how that season ended.  Damn you, BC!

I listened to Bob Uecker's call of this game on the radio.  He was obviously pained, but he took it well.  I like the guy, but it was good stuff, considering what it does for us.  Steve Stone always talked about the importance of # of losses in a pennant race.  Milwaukee's 49 losses currently trumps the Cubs' 48.

BC -- PUT DOWN THE F UCKIN' CRACK PIPE SON!  Just stop it, you're killing your own brain cells thinking up this vile inane shit.  I always tell the guys to cut you a break, but sheesh, this is some real inexplicable bullshit you're drumming up.

This is weird hearing Cory ?Provus? give the patented Pat Hughes uniform descriptions.  I wonder if Pat has the same thing I have.

How about that DLee?

This is just bonertastic sploogemungous.

Count me in.  DeRosa is just another one of those guys I knew would play for the Cubs at some point in their careers (Jeff Blauser, Rondell White, Cliff Floyd, Greg Maddux Part II, Steve Effing Buchele).  Those guys are hit and miss.  Some more miss (Buchele, Phil Nevin when he wasn't trading himself, Gary Gaetti after he died) than hit (Gary Gaetti before he died, Nomar before he died).  Lets hope DeRosa remains a hit.

I was always a DeRo fan, but I didn't want to admit it because some of the pub he got around here at times.  But now, because of this bonertastic sploogemungous thread, I can, as the kids say nowadays, say "teh f uck" with it and proudly pronounce myself a Ponderosa guy.

When he goes on a 11 for 78 stretch in August, I'm gonna quote this post in all strikeout line.  Like this.

They just played the Pat'n'Ron call on Fox Fux.  Great stuff.

Did anyone else notice that Rob Bowen was standing next to Felix Pie in the celebration pile?

I don't think I can help you out about your apartment question, until you post your girlfiends' address here too.

How many girlfriends do you think I have? And why do you assume you'd even want any of their addresses?

Paul? "Chad"?

The way you "flow", I don't know. 70?

Woah.  Say, man!  That was, oh, I don't know, what do you call it -- phat?  Is that it?  If so, that's what that was.  Real good stuff there, Pex.  Respect/props/e-high five (I can upgrade that to a chest bump if need be).
