We are back to a 2-round bump after we temporarily did 1-year during Covid.  That shit is over.   

Draft Date set for 3/22 @ 8pm Central. 
This is when we've done it in the past, so let me know if this doesn't work and I can change.

Keepers: Post them here.  If you also want to post them on the Yahoo League, that's fine. I'll see it.  Post them by 3/19 and I'll get them in.  Post them after that and I won't. 

I've turned off the setting where you check their names on the league page, that never works. So you can only post them here and league page.

I just assumed we had a thread for this, but I guess not.

League has been renewed and all players from last year should have received invites. Please let me know if you did not receive.

A few notes:
1. We have inactive two teams from last year (Chuck, Thrill) that we would welcome new owners on.  You will get their current rosters and the ability to keep players. 

2. Was not planning any rule changes, but please post if you think there's any opportunities there.

3. With Trea Turner now only qualifying at SS, I have a logjam at the position.  Now accepting trade offers for any one of the following. Listed in order of easiest to obtain:

Josh Donaldson - 3B (4th round keeper.)
Manny Machado - 3B/SS (9th round keeper)
Francisco Lindor - SS (14th round keeper)
Trea Turner - SS (21st round keeper)

Martin Landau, dead at 89.

5 homers through 8 games for Iowa.

It's going to suck to see him become a star for another team, but the front line starting pitcher he brings back should make up for it.

In an effort to keep things fresh, we're going to dress up and role play change a few categories for 2017.

Here's how it's currently set-up - would love some feedback.  

Goal here (for pitchers) is to have the best to balance between starters and relievers, while also increasing the overall pool of players from waivers that are rosterable.

Other realistic options - either to add or replace:

On-Base Percentage Against (this is probably my favorite option, but it's not that different from WHIP, so I'd think one or the other.)

Other realistic options - either to add or replace:
Basically nothing.

If we want to go back to 6 categories, then we can remove Total Bases and remove one of either Quality Starts or K/9 for pitchers.
Another option is to replace Wins with Quality starts, but then it's a category only for starters (whereas relievers can pick up wins.)  

Would love thoughts.

This book, however, blew me away.  

Very hard subject matter, but written in a really interesting and compelling way.  

It's just a couple day read, depending on how much time you can devote, but it was really powerful.

I haven't seen the movie, so no idea how it translates.
