OK A-holes.  It's fixed.  Enjoy the orange links, because I have no fucking idea how to change them.  I basically learned scripting in four days to fix this damned thing. - Andy

Patty Duke, age 69, but you can call her Anna.

Ummm... my team is all sorts of old, retired, overdrafted, or just bad.  Here who is coming back at this point:

Hamms
11. Dee Gordon
21. Ben Revere

All of these picks are going to cut into my drinking time that night.

Motorhead covers "Sympathy For The Devil" as the last track on their new album.

If they never make another album, there is no more fitting finale for Lemmy.

I'm ok with that.

+1 (Do we still do this?)

The Hamms keep:

Greg Holland - 4
Dee Gordon - 13
Evan Gattis - 15
Torii Hunter - 16
Aramis Ramirez - 17
Alexei Ramirez - 19
Tyler Clippard - 21
Ben Revere - 23

I'd hate to see the guys you're not keeping.

Sadly, I'll likely see those dropped Hamms return to the fold in even higher slots on Sunday thanks to Yahoo's awesome autodrafting.

Canned Hamms Expansion Draft Protected List

Hector Rondon - 13
Dee Gordon - 14
Evan Gattis - 15
Alexei Ramirez - 19
Ben Revere - 23

I show Gordon as a 13.

Chuck is correct.

Doesn't matter as much for the expansion draft, but in the full draft you'll have to make either Rondon or Gordon a 12.

I stand corrected.  If you have multiples due to in-season signings, I thought they filled in from top down to the next available slot. Looks like they go from the spot up instead.

This week's episode reminded me of the scene from season 4 where Charlie's in the mailroom and been dying to talk to Mac about the mail. If you took that sort of energy and quality of writing and sustained it over a full episode (and then mixed in some really clever camerawork/editing), you've basically got this week's episode.

I had to go back and re-watch it a couple times, and it's even more impressive on second/third viewings being able to see how they wove all the different pieces of the puzzle together so perfectly.

I don't know what else to say other than that was true genius on display.

The barstool gimmick was great... worth rewatching for just that.

With 6 days remaining, picks in from:

Pen
Huey

I might submit a new list, but for now just roll mine over from 2014. There's got to be a winner in there at some point.

I've been rolling my list over for years and it hasn't worked for me.  At this point, I might check out before anyone of my ten picks.

I'll check it out. Nillson is a phenomenal songwriter.

in 1941 a happy father had a son.

You're breaking my heart, I'm falling apart, fuck you.

The guy was fucking gifted.

I've just queued it up and it probably won't take any convincing to get the music historian / pianist that I married to watch it with me.
(seriously, anybody want to buy a piano? we've got 4 of them.)

Thanks Fork.

What a coincidence: I'm one, too.

Oh, wait... pianist?  Sorry.  As you were.

[/Fork]

Just finished watching and I have to get up in a little over three hours.

It was worth it.

Now watch the one on Big Star.

Seconded... but don't watch them back to back.  If you do and you still aren't too depressed to move, look up the Badfinger episode of 'Behind the Music' on YouTube.  That one will knock you out.

Anyone else notice that whenever the Cubs score while Jackson is pitching, he seems to almost always give back the added runs in the very next inning? Demoralizing for a team.

If you have Netflix, watch this.  The story of the Portland Mavericks.
