OK A-holes.  It's fixed.  Enjoy the orange links, because I have no fucking idea how to change them.  I basically learned scripting in four days to fix this damned thing. - Andy

Swad sweet lime pickle. It was brilliant with pork tamales and salsa verde. My imaginary ex went through a jar on its own while I was in Florida. I haven't tried the hot pickle yet, but sriracha is doomed, hipsters.

It should be readily available to those not in hobbit-holes or devoting their time to feoaces.

You can find it in some hobbit-holes.

NBA Post-Trade Deadline Predictions:

Andre Iguodala is a non-factor. Good riddance. Go Grizzlies

Wiggins puts up points for a bad Warriors team and everyone says the Warriors pulled off a steal. Wiggins is still bad, though. He's probably the best scorer on a bad Warriors team, though, and someone has to score points in an NBA game. It doesn't mean he's any different than he's always been. He's not even as good as Harrison Barnes.

Grizz miss the playoffs, but barely. :(

D-Lo Russell scores a lot for the TWolves. They're still bad. Towns still isn't happy. Towns isn't as good as people say he is, either. For his team to win, he needs to be the 2nd or 3rd option. I guess he might be the 2nd option, now, but only because Russell will make sure he gets his. Which is why the Twolves will still be bad and why Town will still be unhappy.

Houston wins it all. :/

You're the same guy that always used to post about how slow Harden was, right?  How he was going to be a bust or something?

True, but I was right about everything else.

Whoa, whoa.  You guys liked this ending?  In my opinion, that ending was the biggest "Fuck you" to the viewer since Dallas' dream season.  The whole damn show was about two things: (1) whether 2008 or 1973 was reality, and (2) whether Sam was going to choose to live his new life in 1973 or return to his old life in 2008.  That ending basically said, "Joke's on you!  NEITHER 'reality' was real."  It then proceeded to completely take Sam's choice out of his hands.  Yes, he said he wanted to stay in 1973 on the phone, but that wasn't even an option.  I think that ending was an insult.

I loved the BBC ending.  I thought this one was an absolute joke, and completely threw out the entire point of the series in exchange for a "bet you didn't think of THIS" moment.

How did the BBC one end?

SPOILERS:

Sam basically abandons his 1973 gang in the middle of a gunfight to return to 2004.  When he gets there, there's a great scene where he's at a meeting and doesn't realize that he's stabbing himself in the finger with a pen, to the point of making himself bleed.  When he sees this, it reminds him of a time in 1973 when Annie slapped him and said, "Can you feel that?  Then, it's real."  He goes to the roof of the precinct and throws himself off.  He wakes up back in 1973, and helps the gang out of the jam they were in.  Presumably, he spends the rest of his time in 1973, while back in a coma or dying in 2004.  It was a terrific ending, in my opinion.

I remember this series and watching it to the end. Maybe I'll watch it again sometime, but it seems like literally no one else remembers it?

Did the series actually happen or was it all a dream?

That?s what I?m trying to get the bottom of. It?s like a British box of cereal with possibly no toy and maybe not even any cereal. 😳

British cereal, like all other British food, fucking sucks.
The British serve toasted bread cold.  They actually have a device called a "toast cooler".  We stayed at a bed and breakfast and asked them to tell us what that device was.  They thought that we were very strange because we preferred out toast hot, or at least warm.

This is bollocks. It's called a toast rack, and it's for keeping your toast crispy. If you stack hot toast, the steam makes the lower slices go soggy.
Soggy toast?  I suggest that you switch to bagels.

No one gonna talk about Andy Dolan writing for The Athletic?

I read his articles just to see his adoring public throw roses at his feet.

They really do love him. This isn?t reporting it?s opinion!

I admit. I?ve not stuck up for Andy in comments. I would, but I don?t think Andy cares ☹️

I'm probably late to the party but I'm about a third of the way through this book having picked it up with precisely zero knowledge of what it was, and what it was about.  As with "The Truman Show", had I heard anything about it before I started it, I probably wouldn't have bothered - but now I've begun I don't seem to be able to stop.

Has anybody else read it?  Please tell me it doesn't fizzle out...

Wrong thread.  This was a movie.

It can be two things

So, now you want me to read a book?  Nice try, bub.  I did not read books THEN and I do not read books NOW and I will not read books LATER.

I heard this book has a sequel. They need to make the sequel book a sequel movie.

Is it "George Dies Next"?

Probably not. I?m guessing it?s John Dies At The End 2

I've sort of watched the first half of this TB/NY game and I like what I'm sort of seeing so far. It's already very apparent that Matt McGloin will be this XFL's Touchdown Tommy Maddox. The Marc Trestman/Aaaron Murray team isn't looking explosive for TB, but I've been told Trestman is, like, really good at offense and stuff.
I would've preferred the league waited a month or so to start. I don't know that I'm hungering for football at this point. I would've liked it to start a couple weeks before the NFL draft or even play it June/July season with 2 weeks of August playoffs in cities with domed stadiums, but I'm sure they've done their research. I also would like to see some team go full Ravens offense. It's something to watch when I'm not doing anything, though.

Grade so far: Better than Meh with the potential for Entertaining
