As usual, I don't get the mouthbreathers.  A lot of people arguing for Sandberg claim "he's served his time in the minors," yet claim Quade is a joke.  Quade spent 19 years as a minor league manager, winning minor league manager of the year along with several minor league championships.  He spent time as a minor league manager within the A's system, so he probably values the right things about players.  He'll also come really cheap.  

So, having absolutely nothing to do with the fact that they're 6-2 with him at the helm, I don't think keeping him around for a year or two would be the worst thing in the world.
