OK A-holes.  It's fixed.  Enjoy the orange links, because I have no fucking idea how to change them.  I basically learned scripting in four days to fix this damned thing. - Andy

Guardians of the Galaxy

Finally got round to seeing this over Christmas.  If you're one of the people who got bent out of shape about JJ Abrams' treatment of the Star Trek franchise, well... you're going to fucking hate this film, because it's a rollocking, rip-roaring, laugh-a-minute action yarn that never slows or takes itself too seriously.  If you're one of the people who got bent out of shape about JJ Abrams' treatment of the Star Trek franchise, you should probably go and find something a hell of a lot less fun to watch.  You dull cunts.
Your toilet's broken, Dave, but I fixed it.

It was good. It was fun. It's not one me or the boys are in any rush to see again.

See it once and you'll never need to see it again.

And it was far better than the abortion that was Star Trek Into Darkness.  It's slightly below JJ's first Star Trek, but by a smidge.

I got bent out of shape about the JJ Abrams Star Trek movies (Well, the sequel anyway) but it's not because of the way he makes movies. Just the way he had a convoluted, non-sensical plot in the first movie that was contrived solely to get all of the original crew together and send them off to new adventures in a totally new continuity....and then he made a shitty Wrath of Khan remake when he had an entire universe to work with. It was just kind of hack-y. Totally excited about his Star Wars movies, though.

But yeah Guardians is a delight in every way.
I will vow, for the sake of peace, not to complain about David Ross between now and his first start next year- 10/26/2015

Yes, very good. Probably my favorite Marvel movie, but I'm not one who is wrapped up in all that continuity bullshit.

Avengers was better. And I really liked Capt. America 2 a lot.
