I had thought about ripping out the equipment in my mobile home/lab and hitting the road.  This might have clinched it.  Besides, I could hit Billy's Bar-B-Q in Lexington on the way.

I really like that drive until you hit Indiana.

I have 60Hz, but the 120Hz I saw in the store was pretty badass.
They had them side-by-side and if the price difference wasn't $600, I would have definitely gone 120Hz.

But I'm sure Chuck will just come in and tell you that all you need is 720p.

Is there anyone here who gets their mail with "Esq." after their name who works with workplace discrimination?

No, it's not for me.

If you watch sports, get 120Hz.  Again, the smaller the TV the less noticeable the difference.  Generally the threshold is 42".  Under 42" you can go cheaper on the Hz and 1080 vs 720.

Well, I currently have a 37" Rear-projection LCD tv that I got 2 years ago. I had an issue on Sunday (just a couple hours before the bears game) with the sound on it. It went out for a short amount of time. I tried multiple things, and couldn't get it working. About an hour later, after I had changed cords, screamed at the gods, etc., it started working again. I fully expect to have the issue again in the future, so I'm thinking I'll try to splurge on one during the Thanksgiving day sales. In short, if I spend a bunch of money on a new TV and I don't add more than 5-10 inches of viewing pleasure, I'll be quite disappointed in myself.

Two words:  Samsung.

Some more words:  My 47" (TAILWIND) 1080p, 120 Hz flat panel LCD is the ball steaks.  The colors are great.  It gets the very best picture on NFL Network, MLB Network and the Golf Channel.  FX and FOX come in very clear as well.  WGN's HD is also very good, for whenever our favorite baseball team is playing.  Sorry, I don't get FSN St. Louis.
Abraham Lincoln once said, "If you are a racist, I will attack you with the North."  And, these are the priciples I carry with me in the workplace.

Yeti's way too obsessed with adding inches of pleasure. But we all knew that.

With the price of drywall going through the roof, it might be cheaper to forego the drywall for a wall of televisions.
