OK A-holes.  It's fixed.  Enjoy the orange links, because I have no fucking idea how to change them.  I basically learned scripting in four days to fix this damned thing. - Andy

Gee, thanks Oleg.  I was hoping someone would know which ones were legit and which ones are spam merchants.

Someone sent me a link to this Excel spreadsheet that has a list of items, organized by store, item type, price, etc.:

My computer at work wouldn't let me get into Desipio on Internet Explorer, so I had to use Firefox.   However, since the recent format change I can get into Desipio with Internet Explorer again.  Isn't technology wonderful?

I did it just for you, Stew.

Happy Thanksgiving.

Wait until you see what you get for Christmas!  Oh, never mind.

I see a pretty consistent method has evolved in this thread.

1)  Person requests help
2) Next 1-4 people provide a smart-ass response
3)  Someone comes through with something that MIGHT be helpful.
4)  The only site you'll ever need
I think he's more of the appendix of Desipio.  Yeah, it's here and you're vaguely aware of it, but only if reminded.  The only time anyone notices it is when it ruptures (on Weebs in the video game thread).  Beyond that, though, it's basically useless and offers no redeeming value.

The last couple of times I lugged my laptop outside the comforts of home, it wouldn't connect to the internet. It connects to the network available, but not the internet. Sometimes it works, like in my last hotel, but most of the time at hotels or airports it won't work. It used to work at my in-laws house, but now it won't anymore.

Any ideas on why it connects to the network but not the internet?

Google is amazing, you should give it a whirl sometime.

"First, go into your Control Panel / Network Connections / either the Local Area Connection Properties or the Wireless Connection Properties, whichever is giving you the trouble / TCP/IP Properties, and make sure that IP address and DNS are set to "automatically obtain." Also click the Advanced button and make sure that nothing is explicitly entered for Default Gateway, nor anything on the DNS tab.

Secondly, run the Winsock fix per this article:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/811259"

For the record, this worked. Now I can not post anything in Ohio.
