Are you seriously asking me out?  And here I thought being pregnant would make dating more difficult.

yep

Let's say, for the sake of argument, I were tempted to say yes.  There are these nagging details.  You might consider this kind of stodgy and uptight of me, but I generally won't arrange to meet people in person about whom I don't have some minor details, like, you know, their name, general age range, criminal history.  That kind of thing.  It just seems prudent.  Also, when asking someone out, if the intent is to actually go out, and not to entertain a messageboard, you might want to send a private message.  Just a little insight into (not to stereotype) the female mind.

I thought we had some deets ironed out already.  Yeti and I are more than qualified to sit for BabyDubbs.  You've seen pics of Dubbs on here, right?  He's handsome.  And he's only murdered those that need murderin'.

What a day to have been stuck in meetings...

Casey is a fine name.
You like it, you stick with it.

You shouldn't say that until you know what the last name is.  If the two names don't sound good together, then ya gotta switch.

HOWEVAH, if Casey sounds alright with the last name, then I'd just stick with it.  If he gets picked on, he gets picked on.  Besides, movies have shown over and over that pedophile father-figure can whip that little fartknocker into shape in a minimum of 2 training montages.

Honestly, where smg really erred was in not requesting our name ideas before getting her heart set on Casey.

We have a bottomless well of suggestions to share. Just ask PenFoe.

I just named a baby a few months ago.  I got what the kids call "a 6 month old".

JD II?

Congrats, Dills.

Gracias!  It's a girl.  Her name is Glennita Bequita.  Yeah, it's a pretty awesome name.

Way to go.

But would it have killed you to run it by us first?

We've got systems in place for this type of thing, dammit.

Thrill is right, the order of announcement goes:
SBox
Desipio
Parents
Co-Workers

PenFoe "gets it."

And that's why young Chastity Lapdance will stand out against the sea of Emmas, Emilys, Madisons and Addisons around her. It's a power name.

Pen also knows it's proper form to inform the shoutbox within 18 minutes of conception.

With TDubbs, it might be more prudent to ask about his collective of narcotic inhibitors and history of sexually transmitted diseases.

Though that other stuff you made mention of is good too.

Excellent points.

Because being a raging Chad isn't actually technically a crime.

Was TDubbs not at the Shitty's get-together when you were there?  I think it was the one with the weird Matt Murton fan-chick getting all dreamy eyed over Apex.

Dubbs was not there.  Ned Ryerson was.  When I met him, I asked if he was "TDubbs" (same initials, before he said who he was).  Much cooler than TDubbs, that Tommy is.
I think he's more of the appendix of Desipio.  Yeah, it's here and you're vaguely aware of it, but only if reminded.  The only time anyone notices it is when it ruptures (on Weebs in the video game thread).  Beyond that, though, it's basically useless and offers no redeeming value.

Question, especially for the legal minds - I received a speeding ticket today.  The ticket specifies the vehicle as a 2006 Chevrolet.  The car was actually a 1995 Buick coupe.  The license plate number listed on the ticket is off by one digit.  Any chance of winning on that?

Speaking of cars, what say the car homos here about this? If most of your driving falls into that 40 mile range, will the energy cost savings and tax credit make this a good buy?

QuoteGeneral Motors on Tuesday put the base price of its Chevrolet Volt, a plug-in car capable of driving about 40 miles on battery power without using gasoline, at $41,000 before a $7,500 federal tax credit.

QuoteThe carmaker said it would also lease the Volt for $350 a month, hoping to attract consumers who want lower monthly payments or would hesitate to buy the vehicle until they were more comfortable with its technology.
