Do you think my having Luce Irigaray in the Dead Pool merits a footnote in this Critical Inquiry cover letter?

That probably depends on how phallic you want it to come off as.

Netbooks.. Mostly gay? Completely gay? Or great device? I will watch porn, not update my blog, fuck around on the Internet, download podcasts, and play spider solitaire.

Netbooks aren't bad.

You, however, are completely gay.

Why wouldn't you just get an iPad instead?

Because I see how well I type with my iPhone. I think I'd blow ass with a touch keyboard. I decided not to buy one.. Not just yet. I  perused around Best Buy and considered one of them or maybe a really cheap laptop, like these:
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Dell+-+Inspiron+Laptop+/+AMD+Athlon%26%23153%3B+II+Processor+/+15.6%22+Display+/+3GB+Memory+/+320GB+Hard+Drive+-+Black/1179872.p?id=1218231017163&skuId=1179872
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Toshiba+-+Satellite+Laptop+/+Intel%26%23174%3B+Celeron%26%23174%3B+Processor+/+15.6%22+Display+/+2GB+Memory+/+250GB+Hard+Drive+-+Black/9988402.p?id=1218205766215&skuId=9988402
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/HP+-+Laptop+/+AMD+Turion%26%23153%3B+II+Processor+/+15.6%22+Display+/+4GB+Memory+/+320GB+Hard+Drive+-+Silver/1572092.p?id=1218270208589&skuId=1572092

So, what has spurned this, however, is my new E1000 Linksys Wireless-N Router is not able to communicate to my laptop's wireless G adapter (actually vice versa is more accurate). I have an Atheros AR5700 built in and I can't find any support from Atheros on the issue. Any thoughts, Desipio?

As is my way, this is probably useless, outdated advice.  But historically, Toshiba laptops have a tendency of the monitor screens eventually breaking - or at least they did a few years back when my brother bought one.

Unless you are planning on playing video games on your laptop, you probably won't need 4 gigs.  (Besides, laptops that use 4 gigs can get pretty hot.)  The 3 gig Dell will probably fill all of your pron needs.

Does the router do G and N simultaneously?  Might have to be set up for that...  Of course, that usually means that your speeds drop down to G only.

Working on Access 2003. I have an error report that I do where I list information about the error and then indicate the date I listed it in one column. Now, as a part of my job, I have to readdress these errors within a certain timeframe, like 1 week. If it hasn't been fixed by the region, I need to either contact them or send it back. That's neither here nor there though. What I want to do is have Access do a couple things for me. First, I'd like it to look at the date in the field and either automatically put an event in my calendar for one week in the future or send me an email telling me to address that error (the email would be sent from my own outlook to myself). On that same accord, if I were to fix the error and indicate it on Access (either by a check box or indicating the date fixed) I would want Access to realize this and cancel the event or just not send me the email.

Any thoughts?

By the way, I have messed with DateAdd() but I can't seem to find a way that it is automatically calculated from a date in an associated field. I can get it to automatically add 7 days from today's date. The reason this won't perfectly work is because I may not enter the information into Access until the next day.

Anything on this? No? Bueller? Bueller?

Moving on. Another issue: I bought a Sony iPod clock radio (ICF-CS10iP) for my office. It came with an AM antenna that, in a perfect world, would allow me to listen to the Score at work without having to stream it on my phone and use up my AT&T 2GB limit. However, for some reason, in my office, the channel won't come in. I can get local stations fine. During the day is when the signal is better I've noticed, the Score one that is. At night, it gets interfered with some Spanish station.

In summary, anyone know of an AM antenna I can buy that will allow me to pick up more of a signal? There is a 2 prong connector on the back that the antenna connects to. I would be open to something wireless that I could place at another spot of the building if need be.

A couple options:
