Carmax is awesome. I got Blue Book for a rundown minivan with a bad transmission.  Done and done in 45 minutes.

I figured they'd low ball. That's great to hear. Should I get it detailed before they inspect it or just clean it myself and let them handle the rest?

Had a friend in Phoenix who moved to Chicago a few years back. She went to Carmax like the day before she moved and was in and out with a legit offer in a flash.

So basically...Chuck is right!

Wash the outside, vacuum the inside and be done with it.  Don't bother with a full detailing.

That's better than "google," which is what I was expecting.

I think you should put it on craigslist, not because it's a good idea, but because i want to hear your stories about you taking random people on test drives, trying to sell a 2002 Blazer.

You should also use this picture.

I'm moving to Norway in mid-August.

Which brings up this: WTF is in Norway (besides your family as of 2 days ago)?

I don't know everything about everything, but I do know that generally, when you're a husband and a father, the part above doesn't belong in parentheses and pretty much answers the question.
