OK A-holes.  It's fixed.  Enjoy the orange links, because I have no fucking idea how to change them.  I basically learned scripting in four days to fix this damned thing. - Andy

This is a terrible conversation.
I can't believe I even know these people. I'm ashamed of my internet life.

Or should I just get a sensible 2005 Corolla and quit yappin' about it.

I drive a 2005 Corolla and it's extremely sensible. I am being 100% earnest here.

I've worked at non-profits for my entire professional career, so you probably don't need to do what I do.

My family (well, my dad and brother) has been a Toyota family since 1982, and they never seem to complain.

Toyotas and Hondas, drive 'em into the ground (and then keep driving). It's the no-frills German Lutheran way.

It probably helps that I've never been all that into cars, but I will admit to being awfully tempted by all the Tesla Model 3 talk.

I've gotten to test drive the Model S a couple of times. It's like driving in a gat-damn spaceship. If you have a Tesla store in your area, I'd highly recommend you give it a go.

There is one here and I'd love to drive one, but I guess I'd feel bad for wasting their time. Then again, maybe I could say was trying to get an idea of what a Model 3 is like before I put a deposit down later this month? That wouldn't be a total lie.

If they are anything like the store here, they'll be cool with your casual interest. I told them that my wife and I are both teachers, so they knew the S was a pretty unrealistic purchase, but they still treated us like any curious potential customer.

Well obviously they were laying the groundwork to get you into the 35k car. Clever bastards.

I can't understand why anybody would buy a new car.  You're only going to use it.

Why clean anything? It's just gonna get dirty

Does anyone have any experience with a 2011 BMW 328i?  We have a neighbor who is selling hers.  28,000 miles.  She is asking $19,800.

Do people buy other goods that don't get used?

I think I missed that one in the memesheet.
