Dusty can't manage in Cincinnati forever. There will be an opening there at some point.

The NLC is still rancid. The thread can't die.

That's true. The thread title even allows us room for other stories nearly as hilarious as the time Butchie Yost let Turd Throw pitch an 85-win Cubs team right into the playoffs. Good times!

But let us not forget that it was Francisco Cordero who gave up Aramis' most epic mother fucking home run ever.

You have a funny way of spelling "Dontrelle Willis".
I think he's more of the appendix of Desipio.  Yeah, it's here and you're vaguely aware of it, but only if reminded.  The only time anyone notices it is when it ruptures (on Weebs in the video game thread).  Beyond that, though, it's basically useless and offers no redeeming value.

Are you referring to a first inning grand slam? I mean, I realize it was the first Cubs grand slam in the playoffs since it was still legal to own people, but I don't think a grand slam in the first inning of a playoff game in Florida compares to a walk off home run that turned the season around at Home in front of the fans. Since neither home run was part of a championship-winning campaign, I'll go ahead and say the one that actually ended a game in a totally epic fashion would be the "most epic."

Nah, if it was on Yellon's site the most epic home run discussion would be between a Todd Hundley solo
shot in the 3rd inning of a a game the lost that landed two rows in front of him or a Sosa 8th inning solo
shot in a game they won by 12 that landed two seats to he left.

But the winner would be a 2004 game winning Larry Walker blast that he didn't see, but one of the
"ball hawks" on waveland sold to him and he got Larry to sign.

We moved on to YIABRCCSWAOSOHOI anyway. It's 100% snappier, with 100% less Chuck.

Anyone around here have a Pulitzer vote? If so:

I like MLBTR but I don't think they have hard-hitting stuff. They are just good at following people's twitter feeds, refreshing sportswriter's blogs, etc. They're basically a news feed of information coming from a bunch of sources. Again, I like the site though.

They are a lot better than the site originally was.  Crazy rumor guy used to make up tons
of space crazy stuff to drive traffic.  Now, it's aggregating slightly more informed crazy
rumors.  I read it for links to local articles on teams.
