Season two arrives Wednesday.

Finished Disc 1 of Season 2 yesterday.  You are in for a treat.  I think it was from Season 1, but I thought the "Ignore me!" alien was going to be the death of me.

Thank you, Apex.  Thank you very much.

Did you notice Stephen Colbert as the voice of Mr. Impossible (stretchy dude)?

The "Ignore me!" alien was a fucking riot. When he yelled it at the cab driver I lost my shit completely. I've seen that episode three times now and it just flat out never gets old. This series kicks up about 30 notches on the second disc of season two. Wait til you see the Scooby Doo gang. Oh, holy crap.

I did not, because I was distracted by that episode being so fantastic.  When they open the "Flame"'s chamber and he starts screaming and running around?  Choice.  As soon as I'm done with these, I'm probably going to rewatch them.

I did notice that. As a big fan of Harvey Birdman, I must say Colbert's got some excellent chops for animated shows.

Harvey Birdman, you say?  I've always suspected I would love that show, but never tested that theory.

As for Colbert's voiceover work, can anything top Ace & Gary?

Unfortunately, it seems that Mr. Colbert will not be reprising his role as Professor Impossible. This is bad, guys; I mean, look how much the quality of Goodwrench's commercials dropped after his likewise departure....

It's too bad those Word-of-the-Day calendars don't come with a context guide.

And how, exactly, would said context guide have suggested I use such a word? I didn't know me calling both departures similar--in that Colbert doesn't work for each respective "company" anymore--was so egregious an error as to be worthy of your cynicism.

Well, don't use adverbs as adjectives, for starters.
