Agreed. I don't think it was a great or even a consistent zone but that doesn't excuse shit like Zobrist inexplicably taking a called third strike that was well within the zone (in fact it's even more inexplicable that he didn't offer at it given how the zone had been called all night), or Willson giving up two ABs by not swinging at all and then trying to bunt his way on. They got beat.

Kershaw is a great pitcher.  He has a hitch in his delivery that (I believe) throws batters off.  He also has great command of the strike zone.  I know that I am being Captain Obvious with these remarks, but my point is that last night's game was more about Kershaw's pitching than it was about the Cubs' batting.
