Has Visanthe whipped it out yet?

This sure was a nice thread we had here, while it lasted.

Don't worry, it will breathe by the time the Giants ass-rape the Saints.

I was wondering when you'd show up. I figure by then, Shockey will be drinking hurricanes on the sideline.

Just so the Bears thread doesn't become overloaded. Did anyone watch the game last night? How the hell do the Dolphins start a drive, down 4 pts, with 3:17 left in the game and not go into the hurry up until after the friggn' two minute warning? Considering Chad Pennington's incapable of a pass deeper than 25 yards maybe, just maybe, you should try to conserve as much clock as possible?  They made Lovie's clock management against Green Bay look downright admirable.

I'm watching the SC highlights of their last drive and the commentators are baffled. What the hell were the Dolphins doing?

All I can see is Chad Pennington's flickering lightbulb hanging over his West Virginia Sisterfuckin' Mouthbreathin' head.

I didn't see the game, but how could a team possibly have the ball for 45 minutes in a 60 minute game, only turn the ball over once, and still lose?

Well, the Dolphins had 239 rushing yards on 49 attempts which chewed up a lot of clock. And it looks like they didn't do it very efficiently. I'm no expert on football. Is it common to have 27 first downs and 21 third downs?

The problem was they froze up damn near every damn they got near the goal line and they settled for field goals because the wildcat and running every damn down failed them when they got into the red zone. The other problem was letting Peyton Manning throw it wherever the hell he wanted. He was on the field for less than 15 minutes because he scored nearly every time he was out there. The Colts last touchdown drive was 3 passes and lasted 32 seconds. The defense was just pathetic.

I think I saw that Manning had 3 TD drives that lasted a total of 2 minutes.  He really likes playing in Pro Player Dolphin Landshark Stadium

The only thing I thought of'd.

Not NFL news, but as a Steelers fan on a predominantly Bears board...I think there's one thing we can all agree on...I hope this ends poorly for him.

I can't believe I even know these people. I'm ashamed of my internet life.

Saw on the local Detroit morning newscast that the Lions game will be blocked here on Sunday since they failed to sell the last 10,000 tix to the game.  That's just funny.  What sucks is they're showing the Stillers/Bungles game at 4 instead of the Bears so I'll have to find a bar with NFL Sunday Ticket to watch it and just hope the Lions fans have filed out by then so I can get a table.

Won't the game blacked out there on NFL Sunday Ticket, too?

I don't see why.  If you're paying for every game on every sunday, then you should get every game, every sunday.

Yeah... Unless your local game is blacked out locally...

QuoteA regular-season, Sunday afternoon home team game will be blacked out in a home team's territory if the game fails to sell out at least 72 hours before the game. If it is blacked out on your local broadcast station, it will also be blacked out in your area on NFL SUNDAY TICKET.

I just saw that on NFL.com.  That's fucked up.  They will show the game on NFL.com on a delayed stream free in local market but I'm guessing that won't be until after the game is over.  They did say you had to head 75 miles out of the area to get out of the black out.  Guess I won't have any problems getting a table at the bar.

No more fucked up than their overall blackout policy.

I mean, it wouldn't really be a blackout without it being totally blacked out.

I just figure that if you're paying for every game, every Sunday that you should actually get every freaking game.  I don't understand the logic of losing out on ad money broadcasting the game to punish fans for not buying overpriced tickets to see the worst product the league has to offer.  They're really not doing anything to help sell the team to the 17 fans they have left.
