Folks had fun with Matt Nagy's first pitch which clocked at 68mph.  At the A's ballpark they had a contraption that let fans see their fast ball speed.  I am proud to report that I threw a blistering 47mph on my best attempt.  (Anyway, I think it was a curveball.  Or at least a change-up.  Maybe a knuckleball?)

Right now I am watching the ESPN showing of Game 7 of the 2016 World Series.  It is the 8th inning.  I know how the game ended and who won, yet my pulse rate and blood pressure are embarrassingly high.

It wasn't terrible.
