OK A-holes.  It's fixed.  Enjoy the orange links, because I have no fucking idea how to change them.  I basically learned scripting in four days to fix this damned thing. - Andy

Also, why the hell was Sirott doing play by play for the final Canucks game?

Once upon a time I wondered the same thing but instead of getting some sort of answer, I was instead mocked for calling attention to said situation as being "weird".
I think he's more of the appendix of Desipio.  Yeah, it's here and you're vaguely aware of it, but only if reminded.  The only time anyone notices it is when it ruptures (on Weebs in the video game thread).  Beyond that, though, it's basically useless and offers no redeeming value.

I picked a good night to break my streak of not watching.

I thought about this very thing yesterday. As I was driving back from O'Hare, I found the replay of Game 6 on 720 AM. I thought I might as well listen again because I was bored and traffic was bitchy. I thought it would be cool to hear the call of Kane's winner and all the shirtless hugging that ensued. Then I thought of you actually getting excited for those radio calls and Pudd Sirott ruining your JO session like an unwanted knock from Mom and I lol'd. I later turned on THIS during a commercial. I didn't turn the game back on again.

WGN replayed the radio calls of all 4 series clinching games today-I'd much rather listen to any of those games than a current Cubs' game.

Also, why the hell was Sirott doing play by play for the final Canucks game?

But, then, I haven't been watching the Cubs at all. So: grain of salt.

As much as I want to stay far away, I still watch or listen to big chunks of almost every Cubs game and die a little with each and every loss. I don't remember 2002 being this hard (||) and I watched almost every game that year.

Before we left for the long weekend, TPex inexplicably turned off the air conditioner. When we returned to an 80+ degree apartment last night, I couldn't get this song out of my head:
