I hope the Cubs take the best available college hitter player on the board again with the 9th pick in the draft, position be damned.

Don't discriminate, man.

No, I was making a very specific, discriminating point.
I can't believe I even know these people. I'm ashamed of my internet life.

I went to summer camp in Maine with Jordanian Prince Ali-bin al-Hussein, the guy who just withdrew his name from consideration for FIFA president.

He stole one of my Garfield books, but returned it when I confronted him, said he was just borrowing it as a joke.

Overall, I remember him being a pretty nice kid.

I was about 11.

This thread is for admitting something you're not proud of. Not humblebragging that you went to summer camp in Maine with Jordanian royalty.

To be fair, maybe that was just an indirect way for Pen to admit he owned not just one Garfield book but multiple Garfield books. I guess that's something most people would rather not share publicly.

If you were in elementary school in the 80s and owned less than 3 Garfield books, I would have to assume you were a replicant.

It's like cocaine, though. Lots of people did it in the 80's, they just don't admit it nowadays.

$30 million buys a lot of Garfield books.

... I didn't like Garfield and didn't own any of his crappy books in the 80s or any other decade.

Garfield books were awesome.

BUT, I may have buried the lede in my original I admit it post.

Which is what I'm admitting here.

If only we had a #humblebrag thread.
