OK A-holes.  It's fixed.  Enjoy the orange links, because I have no fucking idea how to change them.  I basically learned scripting in four days to fix this damned thing. - Andy

Has GorzeSloth always been topping out around 92-93 on his fastball?  It seemed like he had a little extra on it.

I don't know, but I think being spotted an eight-run lead early helped.
This is so bad, I'd root for the Orioles over this fucking team, but I can't. Because they're a fucking drug and you can't kick it and they'll never win anything and they'll always suck, but it'll always be sunny at Wrigley and there will be tits and ivy and an old scoreboard and fucking Chads.

An eight run lead made him throw harder?

It can certainly contribute to a "fuck it & chuck it" approach, instead of trying to be too fine.

I think that's what Grabow was doing to be absolutely sure. Gorzo was throwing some nasty breaking balls up there. I'm not saying he'll do that all year, but if Sean Marshall can be decent, I don't see why Gorzo can't. I think they're pretty close to the same pitcher with Gorzo having a decided edge in stamina, Marshall having a bigger bender. And there'd be a 15-round, brutal but anti-climactic draw in the ugly department.
