The zombiegutsmearing scene was great. Reminded me of the Alan Finger classic from back in the mid-oughts.

Michael Rooker gave a very realistic portrayal of Tdubbs after the zompocalypse.

FYI... My cousin HG from DC is a PA for BET. And I'm gonna need the CD ASAP, OK?

It's on Netflix instant watch. Not as good as the British version, but still a funny show.

OK, what the hell happened to Merle?

Did he cut his hand off?
If so why didn't he just use the hacksaw to cut the handcuffs or cut what he was handcuffed to?

Did the zombies get him?
If so why would they leave behind a perfectly delicious hand?

Did he cut his hand off and get away?
How, if the zombies are in the stairwell?

I think he did.

Either he tried and it didn't work or he just went straight for the wrist because he was going nuts.

I hope this improves past the first episode, which I'd put on par with The Savage Bees.

I think last night's episode was the best yet. Whoever is in charge of the splattering sound effects for zombie slaying deserves a medal.

I'm distressed that there are only two episodes left.

Okay, I'm going to say it.  The production value is awesome, the special effects are awesome, zombies are awesome, and the past episode was definitely the best episode yet.  The sister's reaction to her sister's death felt very real (though I'm not quite sure why she didn't turn into a zombie).

But...

They're not really breaking new ground in the zombie genre, are they?  This is just going to end up being a XX-hour, conventional zombie movie, right?  I feel like this show is getting WAY over-praised.
