That Sunday lineup already looks awesome...although once I hear more of Dismemberment Plan, I'll probably think the same of Saturday.

What should I think of James Blake or das Racist?

Who cares. Kylesa.

Also, you definitely should get started on D-Plan but even if you don't hear a note before the show you'll be a fan when they're done.

James Blake is awesome but I don't see his music translating very well to an outdoor festival environment - unless everyone is supplied with headphones.  Das Racist will be pretty cool but OFWGKTA will be ridiculous.

Das Racist is pretty cool. I can't really imagine what that would look or sound like live. I'd be terrified that it would suck but I'd go and check it out for free and then leave before any of the other bands on that list got within earshot.

If someone wants to give me a ticket for free, I'd go watch this show, maybe. Is Pitchfork a free show? I don't know I've never been. And I'm not knocking any of the bands on that list. I just have no idea who they are and I'm afraid I won't like them.

I got a free ticket to Pitchfork a few years ago when I was working the depart-ment section, and got to hear Ken Vandermark and Jeff Parker messing around and warming up for their gig while I was setting up tables and whatever in the early morning. I'm pretty sure nobody was even paying attention to them but me, and it was awesome. Best thing I heard that whole weekend.

Yes! All I need now is for Ross Perot to run for president, Herman's Head to be on the air, and the sides of my head shaved and the top long and the 90s will be back!
