The full grand jury report.  It will make you ANGRY WITH RAGE, sad, and want to vomit all at the same time.  Fuck anyone who knew anything at all about this and didn't make sure it got reported to the police.

Heard enough to know there's no way I can read that.

And here's a happy thought. Sandusky is one guy out of hundreds of thousands of employees at thousands of universities across the country.

He can't be the only one.

You should read it. I'm reading it now. Don't ignore this stuff. It's real.

What's worse is that Sandusky didn't become a pedophile in 1998. I don't know what else he's done before this stuff became known but I hope all of the victims come forward.

It's the worst thing I've ever read.

And that's coming from a man who's read thousands of Fork's jokes.

As for the grand jury report, I simply do not understand how McQueary didn't remove that poor child from that situation immediately.

I keep going back and forth on who to hate the most.  Who sees that and just leaves?  He says the child actually saw him.  That poor kid probably thought someone was finally going to help him.  Instead, he traded his conscience and that child for a coaching job.

DPD.  Some reports coming out that Penn State students are rioting on campus after Paterno's firing.  Slaky's Plan is sounding better and better as time goes on.

As a Pitt alum, I'm enjoying watching the Penn State students riot in support of Paterno and look like clueless idiots.  They are Penn State.

But that's as far as it goes.  I wanted to see JoePa go out on a winless seasion sure, but never like this.  There's just too much that suggests JoePa knew something.  I also hope McQueary's life is as difficult and troubled as the life of the kid he saw getting raped.

There is nothing about this that's enjoyable.

But he went to a school that is a sporting rival of Penn State! That makes this a sweet day indeed for CFiHP.

Agreed.

Just when you think this thing couldn't get any more despicable, the students of Penn State  kick even more dirt into the collective faces of the victims.

When Slaky talked about nuking Penn State, was he being literal, as in Obama getting the "football," typing in his codes and selecting the coordinates for Beaver Stadium?

No?

Maybe now.

This is all so retarded and sad.

I'm gathering that legally Paterno did what was required of him, but morally he really failed.  Sandusky was reportedly still hanging around Penn State's campus as recent as last week.  It's a terrible way for a legend to fall from grace, but he had to know this was going to rear it's ugly head sooner or later and he's getting what he deserves.  Maybe he was hoping he'd take it to his grave before shit hit the fan.

I can pass judgement because I don't diddle little kids and I don't hide the fact that a friend of mine used a sports mentoring program to prey on and diddle little kids.

ETA:  I've yet to read the 23 page report...I think I'll do that now.

Madden was on the Score this morning and mentioned this angle then too.  And like an idiot, I thought this couldn't get any worse.
