Former Baltimore starting pitcher during their salad days, and most recently executive for said team, Mike Flanagan, who apparently took his own life because of Baltimore's persistent failures.
Just a sloppy, undisciplined team.  Garbage.

As a player with the Orioles, Flanagan never saw a sub .500 season until 1986, his 12th year in the Majors. The Orioles haven't had a winning season since 1997. Yeah, I can see why this weighed so heavily on him.

LSA for the thread title.
Andre Dawson paid his $1,000 fine for the Joe West incident with style. Dawson wrote ``Donation for the blind`` in the memo section of his personal check.
