Cubs picked up their half of Aramis' 2012 mutual option, but he declined his.  He forfeits the $2MM buyout and Theo gets a supplemental pick to play with if Ramirez isn't re-signed.

Good signing for the cubs. I doubt Hendry would have even considered Dejesus, since he's not a sechsy pickup.
But he had an off year, solid defender who can play all the OF positions. And didn't cost a lot.
