He didn't say, "pause." He said, "no homo." One form contains a slur, the other was created to avoid using one. About $75K lesson in semantics.

So maybe just a $50K mistake. He also called the sporting press "motherfuckers" for not voting him higher for the Defensive POY, claiming his team's small-market status lead to his slight. That award went to Marc Gasol of Memphis so I think he doth protest too much. Not only that he started the season out of shape and sucked stir-fried ass for 2 months. And the coaches voted him lower than the writers did for their Defensive All-NBA balloting.
