OK A-holes.  It's fixed.  Enjoy the orange links, because I have no fucking idea how to change them.  I basically learned scripting in four days to fix this damned thing. - Andy

Adding a bunch of teams to the conference and a championship game didn't change one tradition: B1G Football is nigh unwatchable.

Lovie Smith to Illinois? He could really succeed in the college game.

Thank you, Pat Fitzgerald, for the heads-up that I don't need to pay attention this season. See you in 2017!

Last night Cal beat Texas in Berkeley, 50 to 43.  It was nationally televised on ESPN2.  The game ended close to midnight here, which would make that 2 pm Central Time.  I assume that all of you stayed up watching that game.  It was one of the most exciting games that I have ever attended.  I assume that all of you were glued to the TV for the entire game.   (The most exciting game that I have ever attended was the 1982 five laterals into the trombone player against Stanfoo.)
If I had known that I was going to live this long I would have taken better care of myself.   (Plagerized from numerous other folks)

I watched all the way until Enwere decided carrying the ball ALL the way into the end zone was too much to ask.

I did see the end of this one after getting back from NU's triumphant beat-down of Duke university (may be one of the very few triumphs NU has this year).  But what is it with fooball players dropping the ball before crossing the line?
Andre Dawson paid his $1,000 fine for the Joe West incident with style. Dawson wrote ``Donation for the blind`` in the memo section of his personal check.
