I am detecting a faint yet distinct flavor of Chicken in a Biskit on the finish of the Dark Horse raspberry ale.

Is this the new beer thread or is this where we make fun of those with terrible taste in beer?

I just picked up a Hop Stoopid and a Wico Tango Foxtrot. Really looking forward to both.

Also, Sofie is tasty - I hear it's going to be on tap at Goose on Clybourn.

What did you think of the Hop Stoopid?
(yes, I'm asking you to remember a beer post from 3 months ago)

Had my first this weekend and really liked it.

A lot.

Strange. I just picked up a 22oz of Hop Stoopid for $3.65. I'm two sips in and I think it's a bargain at $3.65. However, Double IPAs are short order mouthrapists, so once I've consumed all 22oz, that bargain status may be subject to change. As of now, fuck me, PenFoe's right.

That's $1 cheaper than I got it, which is awesome, since I'm roughly 1000 miles closer to the brewery than you.

Even with the high hops, I found it much more palate pleasing than say...Ruination DIPA, which fully supports your mouthraping stance (which is exactly what they want, but not what I prefer).

Which, in your view, means the beer tastes better.

Considering that the beer is made there, yes, it would be better if you could get it fresher and sooner, particularly something like a DIPA.

I subscribe to BK's homebrew of the month club.

For $0.99/month he sends me a growler of IPA.

There's nothing wrong with Indian beer.  Kingfisher and Cobra both go down a storm with a curry.
