Our large adult son is coming home.

He went to Iowa, grew some facial hair, and came back as Edgy Kyle Schwarber.

He probably wears a Disturbed shirt under his jersey now.

Our sweet mashing boy is growing up.

Is he fixed yet? Asking for a friend.

Let's wait until he faces better competition than the Trash Sox, but ........... maybe.

His second half splits are 278/366/694. I can live with that.

That's up from .219/.324/.438.

The day before.

How about since his call up from Iowa? Before last night he was slashing .239/.340/.500/.840 since he came back. Including last night it is .280/.368/.680/1.048. Glad Kyle Fucking Schwarber hasn't done enough to avoid getting the Chuck Cherry Picking Awful treatment. Why do you watch sports/ostensibly have a favorite baseball team?

Just remember Chuck's Law: If you exclude every game in which a player played well, the player played badly.  I heard about it in my Statistical Inference class back in grad school, but it hadn't been codified.
I don't get that KurtEvans photoshop.

Some of us don't think he was ever broken.  He's just been improved.

His BABIP has been a strange thing. As low as it has been it is hard not to blame luck for his struggles, but then again he was also just a dead pull hitter before the demotion and if you keep repeatedly hitting it hard into a shift you know is going to be there, is it always bad luck that they grab it? He's using left/left center a lot more now and the hits are coming.

Either way yeah I was never really all that worried about Kyle. I can't think of an example of a hitter that showed his level of patience and power as a rookie and then disappeared. He's not some Randal Grichuk who just swung at everything, never walked, had one BABIP fueled good season and then regressed to who he was always supposed to be. His approach was always going to result in good numbers eventually.
I will vow, for the sake of peace, not to complain about David Ross between now and his first start next year- 10/26/2015

This is the first year the Cubs will have two LH hitters with at least 30 home runs. Ever.

Kyle is going to leave the rest of this season in a smoldering heap.

If the words I type on a fringe message board have any actual impact on real life events, then Kate Upton will certainly release a lesbian sex tape this afternoon.

She could; but I don't think that she might.

What a throw. That was a great play to save a run.

Feels worth mentioning that even with his awful 9 K in a row streak or whatever Kyle is at .242/.375/.455/.830 in August and .247/.350/.551/.901 since he returned from Iowa.

But her e-mails his strikeouts.
Just a sloppy, undisciplined team.  Garbage.

8. He only got to 2 strikes on his way to number 9 before being hit by a pitch.

I am really not sure why Chuck has chosen to die on the Baez/Schwarber suck hills when there's a perfectly useless Jason Heyward right there.
