First split squad lineups are in.

Against the A's at Sloan Park:

1) Dexter Fowler, CF
2) Anthony Rizzo, 1B
3) Starlin Castro, SS
4) Miguel Montero, C
5) Javier Baez, 2B
6) Chris Coghlan, LF
7) Mike Olt, 3B
8) Ryan Sweeney, DH
9) Junior Lake, RF

Against the Giants in Scottsdale:

1) Tommy La Stella, 2B
2) Chris Denorfia, LF
3) Arismendy Alcantara, CF
4) Jorge Soler, RF
5) Welington Castillo, C
6) Kris Bryant, 3B
7) Kyle Schwarber, DH
8) Chris Valaika, 1B
9) Addison Russell, SS

I might prefer lineup #2.

I'm with you on the Scottsdale lineup. The first one has a fair amount of #2 toward the bottom although it does have three MLB All-Stars in it. I DON'T KNOW!!!! I DON'T KNOW WHICH ONE I LIKE!!!!!!!! *goes blind masturbating*

Rizzo, Montero, Fowler are locks from Mesa. Bryant, Scwharber, Soler are locks from Scottsdale.  Russell over Castro? I think no, today, but eventually, yes.  Baez is watch and see.

When Starlin Castro was Addison Russell's age, he already had like 400 major-league hits and was an All-Star.

My point, of course, is that Addison Russell is a bust.

Bump for back-to-back-to-back dongs by Soler, Baez, and Bryant (who went opposite field).

Nice BP sesh by Bauer there. They should invite him to HR Derby in July.

That's pretty awesome.

However, that slider to Baez was terrible, even if he was thinking exactly the correct amount.
