That was exhausting.

"Gotta get up, gotta get out
Gotta get home before the morning comes
What if I'm late, gotta big date
Gotta get home before the sun comes up"

"He'd come to town and he would pound her for a couple of days
and then he'd sail across the bubbly waves
And those were happier days"

So much for the Ducks wearing the Hawks down.

I don't know anything about Hockee other than what I hear you people say and stuff. But Anaheim does seem like a motherfucker to do hockey stuff against. Like they take the puck away and they are fixing to do stuff with it. Not like all the other sorry teams the Hawks have been clowning on this postseason. Correct me if I'm wrong but was that not an excruciating pair of games? And is this fucker not about to go 7-ish?

TL;DR: The Ducks are really good right?

Would be surprising if it didn't go at least 6.

Next two games, Q gets the last change, which means Kane gets free.

It also means he can hide Timonen more effectively, because he is a shell of his former self.

My sadness in watching Timo trumps the frustration I would normally experience watching that display.  I'm really pulling for that old fuck to pull out a death rattle but every time he was on the ice I found myself just holding my breath.

He's Mays in the 1973 World Series out there.

As is well documented, I don't give any shits about hockey, but I have no idea how you guys do this all the time.

Seems like every single Blackhawks playoff game goes at least 1 overtime and the entire time is completely anxiety-filled, non-stop action.

I can only assume you use each period/overtime break to chase down 5 joints with a bottle of Valium.

You people are insane.
I can't believe I even know these people. I'm ashamed of my internet life.

Fortunately my son is up till 1 AM every night anyway so I'm not really mourning any lost sleep because of watching that game.

I mean, anymore than I mourn all of the sleep. So much sleep mourned.
I will vow, for the sake of peace, not to complain about David Ross between now and his first start next year- 10/26/2015

The Ducks' biggest weakness last night was magnified on the winning goal. Clayton Stoner was so intent on pushing Andrew Shaw out to the blue line that Marcus Kruger was loitering like a damn vagrant right next to the post. As the series progresses, they will continue leaving defensive assignments to chase hits. And there is no team more resilient against hit-happy teams than the Chicago Blackhawks.

You two wanna go stick your wangs in a hornet's nest, it's a free country.  But how come I always gotta get sloppy seconds, huh?

That's about right. Why would anyone want to watch a sport that's non-stop action?

I think I'm finally sobering up from last night. Damn that was intense.

The non-stop action part is entirely unrelated to the not caring part.

Professional table tennis is pretty non-stop - I also don't care for that, though for entirely different reasons that hockey.

And when the Cubs get as close as the Hawks do on an annual basis, you won't bust out the joints/Valium?
