Dusty says I’m playing today at third base for Ramirez! Everyone keeps talking about a “four fit” lineup? Must be talking about the fits me, Jerry, Nomie and Derek give to pitchers! Weeeeeeeeee!
Not sure if you’re going to get the game in today, boys.

I can’t sit till they post lineups with today’s second baseman, nor till our starting pitcher throws one to the plate without arm implosion.
SD

And nevermind if what Neifi says is true.
Just watch out for the 1-2 being a combo of Neifi/Macias.

Neifi at third? What is Baker’s obsession with “getting him going?” You know what gets him going? Picking him up off the waiver wire as a last resort to push your ailing team over the hump in the playoff hunt. That gets Neifi going.
Playing everyday seems to really bore him.
And NOT playing Ramirez? We’re on, what, the eighth game of the season? With a day off in there? We have to rest our guys already?
How about we get off to a good start, give the guys that need to “get started” some starts, and win some f-ing games!
Prior to the start of this season, I was still apologizing for Baker.
Those days are behind me.

I know Lee has stated in the public that he likes and prefers to hit in the 6th spot, but I’d rather have his on-base skills ahead of all of these fuckers, but at least flip-flop him with Burnitz. How many times will Burnitz whiff in front of Lee, whereas Lee could walk ahead of Burnitz where he would see better hitting pitches?
Sometimes Dusty, you have to say the fuck with personal shit, and put your best god damned lineup in the ballgame!

Perhaps Hendry will have seen Dusty’s attempt at a lineup, and ship Neifi out to pasture. He can recall pretty much anyone in AAA and have him be more effective.
Not that Dusty would play anyone recalled from AAA…unless he were a pitcher with a history of arm trouble.

Padres at Cubs, postponed
CHICAGO (AP) – Mark Prior would have made his first start of the
season for the Chicago Cubs this afternoon at Wrigley Field, but
the game’s rained out.
The Cubs activated Prior from the disabled list shortly before
game time. He hasn’t pitched in the majors yet this year because of
inflammation in an elbow.
The game is rescheduled as part of a doubleheader tomorrow.
