Happy Thanksgiving

With Thanksgiving upon us, we take the time to be thankful for all of our blessings.

Nah, mostly we’re all still pissed that the Cubs couldn’t win a single playoff game.

But right now, let’s reflect on one of the finest radio promotions of all time, 30 years ago this Thanksgiving, when Arthur Carlson and Herb Tarlek lobbed turkeys out of a helicopter at a mall in Cincinnati.

“As God as my witness, I thought turkeys could fly.”
