OK A-holes.  It's fixed.  Enjoy the orange links, because I have no fucking idea how to change them.  I basically learned scripting in four days to fix this damned thing. - Andy

I thought pulling the goalie was when the woman stopped taking her birth control without telling the guy.
Nah.  The guy usually knows.  Pulling the goalie involves the coach and the players are all aware of the extra attacker.

Can't wait until tonight?  You can be done with it before the Cubs game starts:

And you've gotta love the picture they use as a teaser.  Are they suggesting something by Lee's chalice instead of a water glass?

It's pronounced Fukudo-MAY. It does not rhyme with Homie. Stupid idea.

Wish I thought of it.
I thought Japanese words do not have accented syllables?  And vowels only have one form of pronunciation?  That's what I recall from my Sumitomo Bank days.

Simply: Foo-koo-doh-may.

I used to bartend (yearrrrs ago) on the other side of Touhy at the restaurant known over time as The Kenilworth Inn / Bones / L. Woods.
L. Woods is still great stuff.  Plank salmon, good ribs and steaks.  Classic Lettuce Entertain U establishment.

I still can't believe someone thought it was a good idea to paint a hotel purple and call it the Purple Hotel.
Well, it was the Hyatt when I was a mere tyke.  We called it the Purple Hyatt.  Then it became the (Purple) Radisson.  Someone finally bought it out, I guess.  It's a slight upgrade in quality from the hotels just south of there along Lincoln near Devon.

Of those, the Heart 'O The City is my favorite as the Wachowski's put it in The Matrix.

Just pool your money, get one really good hooker and share whilst watching the game on TV in a swank suite downtown. Everybody wins.

Speaking of HJE - Where the hell is it? It won't show up for me this morning.
Or hook up with Stuart Levine at the Purple Hotel.
That hotel has a heckuva history.

In December 1982, after four days of deliberations, the jury found Lombardo, Dorfman, Williams, and two others guilty on 11 counts of bribery, fraud, and con-spiracy. A month later, while out on bail awaiting sentencing, Dorfman was shotgunned to death in the parking lot of the Lincolnwood Hyatt Hotel. The mob apparently thought Dorfman was too soft to do his time and might start singing. ABC-TV's Ted Koppel devoted an episode of Nightline to the murder, accompanied by a profile of Lombardo. To this day, the Dorfman slaying remains unsolved.

You have to admit its pretty dumb to take out references of "Real American Hero," taking a uniquely American reference of "G.I. Joe" and making it not an american based special forces team but an international one based in Europe.

Not only that but GI Joe goes from defending freedom and stopping the terrorists known as Cobra to battling those pesky scottish arms dealers known as Cobra. I guess killing terrorists and defending freedom isn't good enough anymore, not even for GI Joe...."A Real something or other..."
As GI Joe was gay, clearly not.  We can't have those unsavories protecting us.

The road is clear for our man Corey.
What kind of GMs enables their manager to make decisions like this?  Well, at least the Cubs now have a manager smarter than their GM.

I decided to watch some, if not most of the last two Bulls games. WHY? I want my life back.
I'm actually GOING tomorrow night.  Well, at least someone else is paying for it.  And dinner is at Vivo.  Maybe we can redirect this thread to Italian restaurants?

Oddly enough, if we happen to be on a a rooftop near the firehouse on Waveland, and there's a strong wind coming from the east, you may be able to actually land a loogie on Tuscany Restaurant, as it's at the northwest corner of Clark and Waveland.
I knew their tortellini was a little chewy!

I'm here, but I won't be there.  I have tickets to the actual game.  Sounds like fun, though.
Well, I guess you could walk over to the bleachers and waive at us.

If nothing else, glad to know you are still lurking.  Say hello to Lincolnshire for me.

Not sure if you've got me.  Me.

Just curious, but are there any women signed up?  SMG?  You out there?
