OK A-holes.  It's fixed.  Enjoy the orange links, because I have no fucking idea how to change them.  I basically learned scripting in four days to fix this damned thing. - Andy

Just the best.
I will vow, for the sake of peace, not to complain about David Ross between now and his first start next year- 10/26/2015

Just the best.

I dunno...Bryant was able to hit a 2-run HR, and the best Rizzo could do was a stupid solo shot.

Rizzo is hitting .308 with 3 homers in his last six games....and his OBP has gone down 31 points. That's how good he's been this year.

Bumping this just because this thread is 15 pages and it should be like 150 by now.

Was Dawson the last Cubs MVP, or did Sammy win it in '98?

Whatever--barring an injury, Rizzo will be in the discussion all season.
Just a sloppy, undisciplined team.  Garbage.

I guess you could make the argument that Pujols deserved it, but to give the SS and the GG to Lee, and not the MVP?  That will still be pissing me off on my deathbed.

Yeah by WAR and stuff Pujols really did deserve it I just can't get over the baseball writers being so transparent about a guy only getting it because his team went to the playoffs since the same people who called him an MVP said a different guy was better offensively and defensively at the same position

How do you remember the cadence of a Michael Jordan fart from the second quarter of Game 3 of the 1989 Eastern Conference Finals, but not Sammy winning the MVP over McGwire?

For some reason I thought maybe I misremembered and they gave the award to McGwire.  Honest mistake.
