True story. My wife and I were at the Dairy Bar in Glenview last year, and a family got in line behind us with their two black labs. The dogs sat down and looked straight ahead as if they were awaiting inspection from a drill sergeant. Sort of strange, considering the number of people and dogs and other things that are going on. No dog can sit still. Sure enough, the family ordered each dog a vanilla cone, which each wolfed down.  The first thought I had was "Wait until those dogs shit..."

Instead of imagining, I have the Cubs' first 6 weeks of the 2010 season.

Dogs and dairy is a recipe for disaster but there is an alternative.

My parent's labs love this stuff.

The Beagles go nuts for that stuff, too.
