On the other hand, he did tell his story, last night, about taking his $8000 signing bonus when he was 18 and going to the bank, putting $5,000 grand in an account and taking the other three to a Chevy dealer (of course it was a Chevy) and sitting in a nice, red, Impala convertible and having the salesman try to throw his punk kid self out of the dealership until Ron flashed his money at him.

It's the 57th time he's told that story in the last 10 years, but it's a good one, and it's times like that when he's lucid that you can see the appeal.  But those times are few and far between.  I'd just as soon they let Pat work alone.  By himself, Pat would be the best announcing team east of the Rockies.

Today is the first day that I've been able to listen for a couple of innings. It is "unlistenable". If I was sitting around somebody like this at a game, I would've told them to shut the fuck up by now.

I'm stuck listening to the Astros' broadcast. The middle inning guys aren't bad but an inning of Milo has me begging to listen to Santo.

EDIT: In case you're wondering, Milo is still an insufferable douchebag.
