Anyone else watch this on HBO? With Jason Schwartzman, Ted Danson, Zach Galifianakis about an alcoholic writer who pretends to be a private eye.

Has potential, but the first show was rather dull.

Wow. I thought this was the Dead Pool post for William Safire.
Take that, Adolf Eyechart.

I watched the pilot last night. I had totally forgotten about this show but then saw that there was a new episode following Curb.

I liked the pilot quite a bit. I like the set up. Love Schwartzman. Danson was pretty funny as the old socialite with the viagra addicition and the pot jones.

Let's see what zany adventures happen next!

I watched it. I kept waiting for something interesting to happen. Any scene without Zach G is dull. Only thing I laughed at was the kick to the nuts scene, but that is always funny.

I agree that it's sort of dull so far, though I actually enjoyed the second episode more than the first one.  I love Schwartzman and Zach G., so I'll give it a couple more episodes, but I haven't been blown away so far.

Ted Danson is a joy to behold and appreciate.  Schwartzman is a straight man to Danson and Galiafinakis when he does scenes with them, and then is outstanding when he is in his own scenes.  I really like this show.

Danson's experiment with gay sex naturally leads to watching old Danny Kaye movies as the night follows the day.

The three main characters are all outstanding in their own way.  I wasn't that enthusiastic after the first episode, but this show is getting better and better.

I was waiting for that scene with him and Zach G.  It did not disappoint.
