Longtime contributor here at Desipio, our college basketball expert Jake Potter and his lovely wife, known around here simply as “The Franchise”, or more specifically, as the one who looks like Mary-Louise Parker became parents for the first time on Friday.
Congratulations to Jake and his lovely bride as they welcome a daughter, Cameron Suzanne, into the world.
I wished him well and expressed my deepest wishes that his daughter look as much like his wife…and not him, as possible.
Basically what this means is we’ll have to spin off a whole line of Desipio baby wear.
Congratulations to Jake and the Franchise, but let’s hope that the introduction of a baby does not mean that Desipio jumps the shark, as has happened to countless TV shows that added a baby.
Hmmm, what a dilemma.

I just joined the cast of the Kelly Ripa – Faith Ford show, "Hope and Faith". It’s the only show that jumped the shark before it even aired.

Wayne’s World 2: After a readily enjoyable Wayne’s World, made sure there was no WW3.
Major League III: Back to the Minors. More like back to straight to video. Don’t expect Major League 4.
Pearl Harbor: A colossal effort which brought down a movie with glorious special effects and both Kate Beckinsale AND Jennifer Garner. This man must be stopped.
