Without Favre or LaRussa around to despise, I'm not sure who I'm supposed to hate anymore. Somebody will need to step up. I know some of you guys will say LeBron and I want to let you know you're still geigh.

Ryan Theriot.
This is so bad, I'd root for the Orioles over this fucking team, but I can't. Because they're a fucking drug and you can't kick it and they'll never win anything and they'll always suck, but it'll always be sunny at Wrigley and there will be tits and ivy and an old scoreboard and fucking Chads.

Sweet, so this thread did serve a purpose.

The way I see it, LaRussa leaving means Dave Duncan takes his bag of HGH and goes home. His wife is supposedly very ill. He might use a year off, or something. Pujols might be less likely to return but that's a crap shoot.

If that World Series meant the Cardinals are about to hit the skids for the forseeable future I'm ok with it.

I'm not feeling good about having created this thread or anything that happened last night.

Were you also the one who started the ill-fated Sox thread in 2005?

Going from memory here, but I thought it was good ole' Paul Popovich Experience.

And if Duncan's wife is dying, can't he just shoot her up with some of his meds?
Just a sloppy, undisciplined team.  Garbage.

That was definitely the PPX. I am the purveyor of the Viking Dongpacalypse thread meaning I'm usually pretty good at these things. Although to be fair to me, I never said this thread was about trying to stop St. Louis from winning the series. I just wanted to make sure that gif of LaRussa lived on.

The Dongpacalypse Thread was goodness wrapped in bacon. I need to go to a happy place right now, so I might just go there.

So, Corey Patterson has a World Series ring now?  I'm gonna blame Chuck for all of this.
